Fallen Soldiers!!!

Evolution Sound would like to send our condolences to the few honorable mentioned peeps in the news this past weekend... Prime Minister of Barbados, David Thompson who died at the age of 48 due to Pancreatic Cancer... And Troydon "Blazer Dan" Cruickshank who was gunned down in Trinidad by Three gunmen at the age of 31... A few big losses in the west indian community as out hearts go out to the families of these two men and may the rest in peace.

Evolution Update 10/21/10

!!!GREETINGS TO ALL!!!

Its been a while since we have updated the blog...sorry to all of our fans, supporters, and listeners. Please forgive us as things have been rather busy for us. There have been plenty changes updates and a whole heap of things going on with Evolution sound. so well jus fill u guys in on everything.

first off..Summer went well!!! All of the events that Evolution Sound was on we did well and represented for Boston to the fullest!!! Jus to name a few of the dances, For Boston | BODY PAINT | BLACK OUT BOAT RIDE | GLOW PT'2 | COOLER FETE | CARNIVAL NIGHT GLOW | SUNRISE AND SUNRISE, for florida we represented Very well as we had florida people in a frenzy... dances like | GLOW IN DECO LOUNGE | SOCA THURSDAYS @ GINGER BAY CAFE | SOCA IN DE CITY @ SOLSTICE AND MORE!!! It was a great summer for the sound and Boston.

ON DE ROAD (BOSTON)

Well first and foremost we would like to thank everyone that played in the Camo Band this summer with Evolution sound.. Bless up all the Dj's and staff, NUMBER 1 REQUESTED | STAR TYM | WWW.DANCEHALLSOCA.COM | BARRIE HYPE (FL) | SOUND VIBRATION | SUPA ROY (NY) | ERUPTION SOUND | SUPA MARIO | LYRIKAL | YOUNG VOICE | SHAWN "MASTAMIND" NOEL | YANKEY BOY A.K.A. BLING TEETH | ZEEK | The whole crew...If we forgot anyone we are very sorry and feel free to add yourself in the comment box... But the Band was very successful as we were by far the largest band on the road in terms of crowd, however we do apologize to the troops that registered in the band as we didn't expect the large crowd and there were a lot of people that stormed the band. Next year we have plans to accommodate everyone. Also due to a rough truck ride to the beginning of the carnival rout the food we had prepared spilled over and wasn't safe to give out as it fell on the ground and we have something in store for the band members to make up for that..jus stay tuned.. and there is also a buzz saying that people didn't get any beverages on the road... to put that to rest there were drinks on the truck for everyone but you had to come to the truck and ask... we anounced it on the truck but some people didnt hear i guess..lol.. next year we will provide a separate beverage truck for the band members, and additional security staff as we plan for the band to be bigger and better.

Labor-day..

Sorry guys..i know you missed us but we decided to leave Brooklyn monday after J'ouvert as we were just tired from lack of rest... but the Big Truck Alliance family held it down on the road!!!

and for Miami carnival

One word maddness!!!!!!!!!! on de road with DE WASSI ONES AND AVATAR miami was maddness... we look forward to next year and beyond as we feel love in miami and thank everyone for welcoming us with opening arms.

Probably the biggest news for the summer...Hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. lol EVOLUTION SOUND IS NOW APART OF THE BIG TRUCK ALLIANCE

Yes massive it has happened as we parted ways with the soca senators and wish them the best in luck for their future. But now we are on to bigger and better things as we take our talents wit B.T.A. and some of America, and the Caribbean's top sounds!!!!! Sounds like HYPA ACTIVE SOUND | HYTEK SOUNDS | PANTRIN VYBZ | STERLING SILVER SOUNDS | DR. ESAN | DIGITAL ENTERTAINMENT | ELEGANCE SOUND AND NOW EVOLUTION SOUND...this is big for us as now we are part of a family that has potential to take over and lock things down!!! Look out for a B.T.A. J'ouvert band in trinidad and the B.T.A 5 city plus tour Comming to your city!!!!

Lastly we must apologize to our fans and friends that were looking for us in the St. Vincent & Grenadines (S.V.G) independence dance on 10/16/10. Due to unfortunate situations we did show up to the dance to play music but was being charged $100 by another dj to get a line to plug up our cd player... We refused to pay this because the other dj was already getting payed for his services... We do not take responsibilities for this mishaps as we showed up to do our job and we also don't hold the S.V.G committee responsible for this either as it was solely the other dj's fault and ignorance.
